The truth, what’s good and what’s not

Delightful hosts created a welcoming atmosphere. The room was spacious and had a really comfortable bed, great for restful nights and a superb breakfast experience.

Noise from the road slightly detracted from comfort. Shower pressure could use improvement for an even better experience.

We had a fantastic experience at this cozy spot! The breakfast was a highlight, especially the fresh, full English options that the kids loved. The hosts, Andy and Sarah, were cute, helping us feel right at home during our stay.

My kids wished for more play areas.

We had an amazing stay, but the shower pressure was a bit dodgy. The breakfasts were the real deal—freshly cooked and so tasty! Chur to the hosts for that!

The room was immaculate and spacious, with a lot of wardrobe space and modern ensuite facilities! Breakfast was a real treat, always freshly prepared with a great choice. The private garden was lovely for relaxing. Plus, only a short walk to the beach and town!

The Groveside Guest House provided an exceptional stay! Our King Room was spotlessly clean, featuring a very comfortable bed, modern ensuite bathroom, and great coffee/tea facilities. Breakfast was delicious and freshly prepared every morning, with a full English option included. Andy and Sarah were wonderful hosts, offering plenty of local tips. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the beach and town center.

Stair access to rooms was a bit awkward with suitcases.

Just a good match for a quick trip in Sidmouth at a reasonable price. The room had a large flat-screen TV, which was great for unwinding after a busy day. Remember to ask for extra fluffy towels if you like them freshened up daily.
